Description
A piece inspired by and referenced from Brom's "Gazelle".Have a little free time for the holidays and decided to finish and show the completed version of my WIP. You can see the beginnings of this at the following link:

I'm sure I'll eventually create a race and name for this creature and add her to my Sorche storyline, but for now she is simply a creature who has just broken free from her captors and takes in the first light of day.
I actually still want to add tons more to this, but for the moment I'm tired of working on it.

Despite her vigorous attitude she lacks weight and momentum and there is a lot of 'dead' space that adds little to the composition.
She's a cool character though and i reckon it would be worthwhile going back to this and tightening it up.

nice modelling & mood, in any case...
but i'd like to see some fur on her tail, and there's something about the shadows you casted: underneath the point where the light hits an obstacle, it's blocked, right? so why then are some of those areas even brighter than the upper ones?
darkening them definitely enhanced the dof of this painting and i'd guess it improved the unused-space-issue kadu talked about aswell.
anyways... still a very very nice work. maybe you could post the whole progress as a seperate sheet? (with all steps included...) really enjoy that stuff.
